Introduction to EU RoHS
RoHS is the abbreviation for The Restriction of the use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment. The RoHS Directive stipulates that starting from July 1, 2006, it is prohibited to contain lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), mercury (Hg), hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl (PBDE) exceeding the prescribed limit levels. ) electronic and electrical products containing hazardous substances enter the EU.

On June 4, 2015, the European Union published Directive (EU) 2015/863 in its official gazette to amend Appendix II of RoHS2.0 and include four phthalates in RoHS2.0. At this point, the restricted substances in RoHS2.0 Appendix II have been increased to ten items.

In addition to the EU, other countries and regions around the world such as China, California, Singapore, India, the United Arab Emirates, and Turkey have also introduced RoHS control requirements, making RoHS the most basic entry threshold for electronic and electrical products to enter the global market.
Applicable product range
Electronic and electrical products and their raw materials (including: large household appliances, small household appliances, information technology and communication equipment, consumer equipment, lighting equipment, electrical and electronic tools, toys, leisure and sports equipment, medical equipment, monitoring equipment, vending machines cargo equipment, other electronic and electrical equipment).
